  1. There were no big winners in last night's Powerball drawing and now the jackpot is a staggering $415 million.

That makes it the ninth largest potential payout in US history.

Changes were made to the game last October that increased the odds of winning the smaller payouts but made it harder to win the jackpot. The latest jackpot has been growing since March 2 as there have now been 18 drawings in a row with no winner.

If you want to test your luck, the next drawing is Saturday, May 7.

2. Preparations are underway for Sunday’s Borgess Run and Kalamazoo marathon.

This will be the sixth running of the marathon and the 37th running of the Borgess run.

The events include 5k, 10k and half marathon runs as well as the 26-point-2-mile marathon itself.

Last year more than 8-thousand participated and they're hoping to once again reach those numbers.

If you haven't signed up you can still do that on their websites.

3. Aquinas College has a new addition on campus, a statue created by a nationally recognized artist.

The statue is of saint Thomas Aquinas, the patron saint of the school.

It was unveiled yesterday at circle drive, just inside the school's Fulton Street entrance.   Jay Hall Carpenter created the piece.

His other works can be found throughout Washington DC, in historical and government buildings.

4. A once-popular teen clothing retailer is filing for bankruptcy.

Aeropostale is closing more than 100 of its US stores.

Five of those are right here in Michigan including the one in Lakes Mall in Muskegon and the one at Tangier Outlet in Howell.

Earlier this year, the retailer closed the Grand Rapids area store in woodland mall.

Clearance sales are scheduled to begin this weekend.

5. If you're looking for something to do during your lunch break, the popular relax at Rosa series returns to downtown Grand Rapids today.

The free series takes place at Rosa Parks Circle during the lunch time rush 12 to 1:30PM.

It will feature live music from local musicians, as well as giant versions of games like chess, jenga, and connect four to play.

There will also be food trucks to provide lunch.

The entertainment will be available every Thursday through September 15.
