ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — A 29-year-old woman is facing up to life in prison for allegedly supplying a man with the heroin that killed him.
The Allegan County Prosecutor’s Office says Ashley Catherine Ashbrook is being charged with delivery of a controlled substance causing death.
She’s also charged with possession with intent to deliver 50 grams or less of heroin, possession with intent to deliver amphetamines, knowingly possessing heroin and possession of amphetamines.
She allegedly provided heroin to 28-year-old Julius Lehmoine in October 2015, according to the prosecutor’s office.
Online jail records show Ashbrook was arrested in Kent County on Thursday.
