PORTAGE, Mich.--  Portage Police say a 19-year-old suspect was arrested Tuesday in connection with a May 5 stabbing.

Victoria Enos, 43, was stabbed several times in her home in the 10000 block of Cora Drive.  She called police at about 12:30 a.m. May 5 saying that she had been stabbed and that her attacker ran from the scene out of a rear door.

Enos' three children and mother-in-law were asleep inside when the attack happened.

The suspect's name will be released pending formal charges.  They are currently behind bars at the Kalamazoo County Jail, according to a release from Portage Police.

Enos was in critical but stable condition after the stabbing. A GoFundMe page was set up for her, and that can be accessed here.
