I just checked the flight I usually take once or twice a month. The price is a whopping $10 cheaper than it normally would cost (if I stay there two extra weekdays), and is still $100 more expensive to fly in and out of GRR than Lansing or Detroit. Thanks SWA, thanks, GRR, but no thanks.

If you are a retiree and don’t care when you leave and when you come back, and if you are going to one of the few destinations that this deal applies to (I couldn’t actually find any of the $49, $79, or $99 flights in or out of GRR), then you are in luck. Otherwise it is the same old airline nonsense as always.

Ah, there they are. GRR to Midway $49, Baltimore $99, and Denver $129. One way of course. And you must choose Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday as your travel days to get these fares. Meaning you lose half your weekend at your destination.
