ALLEGAN, Mich. -- A male victim has been hospitalized in unknown condition with multiple gunshot wounds, and one suspect is in custody, following a shooting on Thursday night.
It happened on Grand St. (M-222) some time around 8:00 p.m. A victim arrived at the hospital via private vehicle. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and was taken to another hospital for additional care. Police say he was last listed in stable condition.
A short time after the shooting was first reported, witnesses had identified a suspect, who was located on M-89 just east of Allegan City limits. He was taken into custody without further incident. Police believe the suspect and the victim are related, but would not elaborate.
