BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Several Kellogg’s products are being recalled because they may contain a peanut residue that those with severe peanut allergies should avoid.
The peanut residue is not expected to cause adverse health effects, even in those who are allergic to peanuts, according to the FDA. The peanut residue was in flour used in the products. Grain Craft, the supplier of the wheat flour, recalled its product after finding the peanut residue.
Kellogg’s says that there have been no reports of illnesses and this action is being taken out of an abundance of caution. No other Kellogg’s products have been affected.
