MUSKEGON, Mich. — One teen was killed and two others were injured after being shot in Muskegon on Saturday evening.
Multiple gunshots were heard in the area of Isabella Avenue and Madison Street near Sheldon Park around 8 p.m. Saturday, neighbors told FOX 17 on scene.
Police confirm two 18-year-old boys were shot. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
A 17-year-old boy who was also shot died from his injures, police said in an early morning release Sunday. Investigators said they found all three teen boys laying in a yard with gunshot wounds.
Police remained on scene for several hours gathering evidence.
Investigators say they are interviewing several witnesses from the scene and are speaking with "persons of interest."
