GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The man accused of leading police in a chase through downtown Grand Rapids after allegedly shooting his girlfriend in the neck has accepted a plea deal.

Theo Little pleaded guilty to several charges, including assault with intent to murder, armed robbery and kidnapping.

Police say before the wild chase through the city, which was captured on police body cameras and dashcams, Little robbed a business in Kentwood and stole a car.  Earlier that morning, he had allegedly shot his girlfriend.

As part of the deal, a charge of fleeing and eluding has been dismissed.

He’ll be sentenced next month.
