KALAMAZOO, Mich. – A Kalamazoo man who shot and killed his step-grandson during an argument was convicted of murder Friday.
Bruce Embry, 53, faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without a chance of parole after being convicted of killed Temetrion Hegler, 17, in January.
Embry was also convicted of being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm and two other firearms charges.
Hegler was a senior at Loy Norrix High School.
