Youth For Understanding: Hosting an exchange student

Posted
and last updated

Every year, hundreds of thousands of high school students travel around the world and to the United States to experience American culture. Thanks to Youth For Understanding, these students have a place to stay during their experience.

Youth For Understanding is a non-profit international educational organization with partners in more than 60 different countries. They're one of the world’s oldest, largest and most respected intercultural exchange programs.

The non-profit organization finds volunteers to host a student and experience American life with a host family. They have helped more than 250,000 students from all around the globe.

The school year is quickly approaching, and many more cultural exchange students are still looking for a place to live during their visit.
