Every year, teachers are often left buying supplies for their classrooms. Heart of West Michigan United way wants to help alleviate the cost through their "Stuff the Bus" event, but they need your help.
Now through August 15, HWMUW is asking for donation of school supplies to give to local classrooms part of Schools of Hope sites within Grand Rapids Public Schools.
They're looking for donations of backpacks, notebooks, pencils, glue sticks, scissors, and any other back-to-school necessities for elementary school students.
The need goes beyond school supplies; they're also accepting donations of hand sanitizer, tissues, printer paper, and dry erase markers.
