School is almost here, and parents always take a "first day of school" photo of the kids. Here's a few crafty ideas to help make your photos more unique, and stand out from all the other parents' traditional photos.
Take a large picture frame, take out the glass, and use a hot glue gun to place crayons all around the boarder of the frame. If you don't have a frame, a piece of cardboard will work just fine. Then all you have to do is customize is with props and other school supplies to fit your child's grade.
Plain and simple, take the iconic apple students give to their teachers and draw your child's grade on it.
Here's an idea where the kids can get involved, and it gives you an excuse to play with sidewalk chalk. Just draw out what grade your child is going into and have them lay out next to it on the concrete. Make sure your kids don't have any chalk on their clothes before you send them off to school though.
