WYOMING, Mich. -- Newly released video and details obtained by FOX 17 shed more light on a string of July arsons and thefts in Kent County.

Video shows the GS Fireworks store on 44th Street completely engulfed in flames.

The suspect in the incident, Casey Marvin, is accused in a string of fires and vehicle thefts.

Marvin allegedly started with the GS Fireworks fire.  He was later found jumping from the balcony of an apartment building nearby, where another fire had been set.  He then allegedly stole a vehicle.

Later, he allegedly tried to get into two homes on Oriole SW, stole another car, and led police on a chase that ended at 36th and Burlingame SW.

A witness in one of the homes says he woke to find a man in his kitchen with no shirt on with a towel over his shoulder holding a container of orange juice.  He told police the man pointed to the witness' car keys and stated he would need those.

At the time, he thought the man was a contractor but he later ran to a neighbor's home to call 911.

Marvin, 34, is charged on seven counts,  including three counts of arson, home invasion, carjacking and fleeing from police.  He is being held on a bond of $1 million.  Marvin pleaded with the judge to lower the bond, but was denied.
