BATTLE CREEK, Mich.– A wasp infestation has caused a park path to be closed off in Battle Creek.
A section of Linear Park Path will be closed off until further notice while crews spray where hives were found.
The path will be closed starting from where the wooded area begins off Wagner Drive all the way to the clearing as the path enters Bailey Park, near ANYbodies Playground.
The City of Battle Creek says that wasps have not been found in or around the playground, but advise people to use caution when they’re in that area and surrounding areas.
