SUFFOLK, Va. – Traverse City’s favorite dog, Piper, the Cherry Capitol Airport K-9, has completed his first skydive.
In a Facebook post, Piper’s handler explains that Spike’s K9 Fund donated a aerial vest to the Cherry Capitol Airport. The founder took Piper on a skydive adventure in Suffolk, Virginia this past weekend. Piper jumped from 5,000 feet and landed like a champ.
The Facebook video was posted on August 31 and as of Friday afternoon had almost 4,000 views.
Piper joined the FOX 17 Road Trip in Grand Haven earlier in August.
