Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Grand Rapids
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A section of Division Ave in Grand Rapids was shut down after a man crossing the street was hit by a car.
Police say around 10:45 p.m., a man crossed Division Ave SE near Cutler when a southbound vehicle struck him. The man was not responsive at the scene, but police say he became alert after arriving at the hospital. He suffered leg injuries and possible head trauma.
Police say they don’t believe alcohol was a factor for the driver.
Division Ave near Cutler will remain closed until police finish their investigation.
