World’s largest fireworks trade show coming to Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– The summer holidays may officially be over, but the skies will light up over parts of West Michigan later this week.

The 2016 National Fireworks Association takes place at Devos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.  It starts today and runs through Saturday, September 6 -10.

The trade show includes over 250 exhibitors showing all kids of fireworks, latest trends and safety improvements.

Then, the live fireworks show takes place Saturday at Berlin Raceway in Marne, located at 2060 Berlin Fair Dr. It will follow the Monster Truck Throwdown, which starts at 7pm.

The fireworks show is free and open to the public.
