MUSKEGON, Mich. — The body of a 67-year-old Spring Lake man was found along the shore of Lake Michigan Tuesday morning.
Timothy Twa’s body was found near Kruse Park in Muskegon. The U.S. Coast Guard and police started a search Tuesday morning after a firefighters walking his dog found the man’s clothes along the beach and didn’t see anyone swimming.
The search was called off at about 11 a.m. when a surfer discovered Twa’s body. His car was found in a nearby parking lot with a parking ticket from the night before.
