GRPS Museum School gets $10M grant

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Grand Rapids Public School’s Museum School has been awarded a $10 million grant to expand and remodel the school.

The grant comes from the XQ Special School Project, a national organization that seeks out and helps fund education programs they feel are using innovative learning techniques.

GRPS was among thousands of schools that applied. ¬†They say that the grant will help be a model for the “next generation” of high schools.

The school is located in the Grand Rapids Public Museum at 272 Pearl NW.
