HOLLAND, Mich. – The teacher injured in a horrific crash Monday has died.
Dan Meester, the superintendent of Holland Christian Schools posted on their Facebook page that Kevin Witte died from his injuries at about 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Witte, 37, was driving on 120th Avenue and Garden Avenue in Holland Township Monday morning when a 44-foot pole from a Parkway Electric truck fell out as that driver was making a turn. The pole crashed through Witte’s car, hitting him and knocking him unconscious.
According to Meester’s post, Witte is survived by a wife and three children. There is also a Prayers for Kevin Witte Facebook page.
