Rockford and Hudsonville ready do it all over again

HUDSONVILLE, Mich -- Hudsonville and Rockford met to finish the regular season last Friday night.  The Eagles topped the Rams 14-7 to force a 3-way share of the OK Red.  Hudsonville (8-1), Rockford (6-3) and Grandville (8-1) all earned a piece of the title.

Rockford and Hudsonville square off once again this Friday in a division 1 district semifinal and the Blitz Game of the Week.

This marks the fourth straight season the Rams and Eagles have met in the postseason.

Battle Creek Lakeview (6-2) travels to play Forest Hills Central (7-2) in the Blitz Battle.  The Spartans are allowing just ten points per game this season while the Rangers are scoring 30 per contest.

Zeeland West (7-2) meets Grand Rapids Christian (8-1) for a third playoff meeting, each of the past two times (GR Christian 2012, Zeeland West 2013) the winner has gone on to win the division 3 state championship.
