BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A staff member at a local middle school is on administrative leave after a video posted online seems to show him drinking in a moving vehicle.
A video posted to Facebook allegedly shows Travis May, Dean of Students at Lakeview Middle School in Battle Creek, drinking and sharing an alcoholic beverage between other men in a moving vehicle.
The Lakeview School District Superintendent says that May is on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation pertaining to the video.
In Michigan, it’s illegal to possess an open alcoholic drink in a moving vehicle.
