GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A motorcycle crash caused some heavy traffic congestion near downtown Tuesday afternoon.
A traffic crash involving a motorcycle happened around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday eastbound on I-196 near the Fuller Ave exit. The left lane of I-196 EB just before the Fuller exit was currently shut down to allow crews access to the scene.
All lanes of EB I-196 were back open at 12:50 p.m. Tuesday.
The extent of the motorcycle driver’s injuries and details of what caused the crash are not yet known. We will bring you more information as it becomes available.
