Kent Co. voters approve zoo, 911 millages

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Kent County voters approved two millage requests Tuesday.

A plan to overall the county 911 system passed overwhelmingly, 85% to 15%, as of midnight.  A millage that will cost residents an average of about $3 per year to fund the John Ball Zoo and the Grand Rapids Public Museum passed 62% to 38%.
