GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — An 18-year-old is now officially facing murder charges in the death of a Caledonia man.
The Kent County Prosecutor’s Office tells FOX 17 that Christian Hillman is being charged in the death of William McFarlan. McFarlan was seriously beaten during an alleged road rage incident in late September on Whitneyville Road. He died from his injuries on October 31st.
Hillman had been charged with assault, but since McFarlan died, the prosecutor is updating the charges to murder.
Witnesses has reported that as many as three people on dirt bikes were involved in the incident.
