LUDINGTON, Mich. – A Ludington ice cream maker is recalling a limited portion of its Ashby’s Sterling Peanut Butter Landslide Ice Cream due to a potential listeria contamination.

House of Flavors, Inc. is voluntarily making the recall because the ice cream was made with peanut butter cookie dough from Aspen Hills, Inc., which has expanded its earlier recall.

The ice cream being recalled was sold in three gallon containers with the item number of 7305 and lot number #16195.  The ice cream was sold to distributors and ice cream shops around the country.

No other House of Flavors products are included in the recall.  Shops that have the affected ice cream should contact their distributor.
