Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that's grown into a movement uniting people around the world. After all that Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping, it's time to give back to the community.
Here's just a few of the hundreds of organizations where you can give your time, skills, money, and more.
West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology is hoping to turn your gifts into life-changing opportunities for students. All donations will help with access to arts engagement, career training and entrepreneurial experiences.
Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity builds homes for local families in Ottawa and parts of Allegan County. They're hoping they'll get donations to build and repair homes. They're also looking for volunteers to help build homes, or to provide any other services.
When you make a tax-deductible donation to the West Michigan Symphony, they'll give you ticket vouchers to Muskegon Area Schools so their staff members, students and their families can come to a West Michigan Symphony concert for free.
