Switching it up for Friday's Friend, the Humane Society of West Michigan wanted to show off 2-month-old kittens Freya and Kovu, who are looking for a new home.

Many of their furry friends are looking for a forever home to spend the holidays with. To give those animals an opportunity to have a family to love them this Christmas, the Humane Society West Michigan is holding a Holiday Open House on December 10.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., dogs 5-months-old or older, and kittens under 5-months-old are available to adopt for a fee of $25. In addition to a low adoption fee, if you adopt one kitten, you can adopt a second one for free!

Plus, they'll be hosting the Winter Escape party on December 16 to raise money for the Humane Society. From 6 to 9 p.m. there will be movies, pizza, tours, and more!

The event is for kids ages 8 to 13. Tickets cost $30 per young adults, and $10 for each additional sibling or child in the group.

For more information on these events, or to adopt another animal, contact the Humane Society of West Michigan at (616) 453-8900.
