CASS COUNTY, Mich. — Police responded to a single-vehicle car accident in Cass County Tuesday afternoon.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says 61-year-old Robert Stratton from Marcellus was found by emergency responders after driving off of Marcellus Highway during a medical emergency, hitting a tree.
Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the accident, according to police, adding that Stratton had a seatbelt on. We’re told the man was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend, Indiana.
Police say the crash is under investigation.
