MARSHALL TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A 57-year-old Olivet motorcyclist has died after deputies say he might have had a medical emergency while riding in Marshall Township.
Deputies responded at 8:10 p.m. on July 31 to a single motorcycle accident on 15 Mile Road near Dreamfield Acres.
When they arrived to the area, they found that the man had crashed and was lying unresponsive next to the vehicle.
Deputies and paramedics tried to save him, but he was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
According to authorities, it appears that the 57-year-old lost control of his motorcycle due to suffering a medical emergency.
Calhoun County Sheriff's Office is still investigating this incident.
