SOUTH HAVEN — Emergency crews were called to put out a big rig fire near South Haven Thursday morning.
It happened around 7:45 a.m. in the I-196 rest area north of South Haven.
The driver pulled into the rest area on his way to Holland when he noticed flames coming from the engine area.
The driver and his dog was not hurt and the equipment he was hauling was not damaged.
