SPRING LAKE, Mich — Police say a man who's body found outside a Spring Lake antique store was not the victim of foul play.
They believe the body found just outside of Spring Lake Antique Mall on Savidge Street had been there since midnight Wednesday or earlier. The autopsy will determine the cause and time of his death.
It's not clear how the older man got to the store; there were no vehicles nearby. Ottawa County Captain Mark Bennett says they believe he was suffering from a medical issue and collapsed.
The man is an area resident in his late 70's, though police are not releasing his identity until family can be reached.
