SOUTH HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The tires on a car carrier trailer caught fire Thursday morning while driving in South Haven Township.
Emergency crews were called around 10:30 a.m. to westbound M-140 near southbound I-196.
The cause of the fire wasn’t immediately clear, but officials say it was contained to the tires. None of the vehicles on the trailer were damaged.
